Bechtel is seeking a Technical Architect to develop and manage the future-state technology footprint of our data centric execution strategy and implementation. This position will report to the Enterprise Architect and work closely with our Solution Architect, Systems Manager, process leads, system leads to ensure cross-functional alignment in driving the work process, systems and architecture requirements and many key design paradigms, principles and methodologies into our enterprise programs. Responsibilities Turn abstract and logical concepts into IT solutions. Lead and deliver usable, integrated and secure solutions day-one. Apply deep technical understanding and experience in developing IT solution architecture, design and development, with in-depth knowledge of: Full stack applicatin development using modern technologies Business Prcess Automation, Process Orchestration, UI/UX, Smart Machines Integratin and interoperability Patterns and best-practices fr multi-tiered distributed applications Multi-Clud environment Infrmation Security, Identity and Access Management DevSecOps tols, and tool-chaining to achieve end-to-end automation EPC industry applicatins and tools Align application design, data design, database design, query plan and database components to overall architecture: Data mdeling, including Property-Graph databases Query languages fr Relational, Document or NoSQL, Property-Graph and Knowledge-Graph databases Query Languages fr navigating or traversing graph databases efficiently and effectively to capture and query complex relationships Big-data techniques, leading t rapid integration with machine-learning and related AI tools Master, Reference and Metadata Management, Data Quality, Integratin, Interoperability Data Quality Database administratin and operations Collaborate with business SMEs and IT team members in the development of solution architecture and technology components. These activities will include: Evaluating technlogies including cloud services and on-premise Leading prtotyping activities including process definition, gap analysis, definition of software requirements and associated software development Leading the develpment of future state tools and associated integrations that will enable a data centric implementation Preparing material fr support, change management and communication Hands on experience in designing, coding, coaching and implementing one or more of the following technologies and languages: Ktlin, React, JavaScript, NodeJS, Java JEE, Python, JSON-LD, Graph databases, Spark, mobile and server-side development patterns, BPMN and its implementation workflow engines, Messaging, Events, APIs, information security and DevOps tools and best practices.
