KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, Data Strategy and Portfolio Management to join our Digital Business Transformation organization.. Responsibilities:. Report directly to the US Chief Data Officer (CDO), and work with the CDO and key stakeholders to establish and refresh the US Data Strategy. Accountable for the development, design and implementation of the Data Literacy program for the US firm. Oversee overall program management of the US Data program including: Communication, Culture and Change Management strategy, roadmap and implementation; Development, reporting and maintenance of integrated program plan including key milestones, reporting, issue management, program metrics. Assist with development and implementation of monthly processes for "business as usual" reporting including key performance indicators and key risk indicators; financial management and reporting for the US Data Program; and Development of human capital plan for the CDO organization. Manage and develop for risk and controls across the data supply chain (risk and control matrices, keys risks, control identification), periodic assessments of inherent/residual risk and assessment of effectiveness of control environment. Accountable for working with 2nd line of defense and 3rd line of defense in oversight and audit activities. Qualifications:. Minimum fifteen years of experience in establishing data strategies and management of large, multi-year programs; as well as experience in developing and implementing communication, culture and change management programs; PMP is preferred. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. Understand the complexity of a matrixed professional services firm / partnership; Program Management experience to include working with various vendors and evaluating against the business needs; developing proof of concepts (POCs) and driving forward pilots. Organizational change management experience; familiar with data supply chain competencies such as data governance, metadata management, data quality, master data management, and data lakes. Ability to direct, motivate and empower others to work towards the organization's goals, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across multiple functions; ensure execution of strategic initiatives for the organization; and ability to address emerging opportunities and how organization should be organized/staffed to realize them.
