Sherpas Cyber Security Group has developed a patented technology that eliminates exposure of important data to harmful acts by the trusted and untrusted. SolidWall adopts new paradigms of cyber security, such as zero trust architecture, restricted user access, user behavior monitoring, adaptive multifactor authentication, restricted binaries, encryption and deny data movement by default. Unlike traditional data protection solutions (firewalls, IDS, IPS, etc), our software is deployed around the data (right where the data resides) and uses micro-segmentation to protect the data from theft (both external and internal), tampering, unauthorized and/or unintentional access and destruction. Docker container technology is leveraged to deploy our solution. Sherpas is in its early stage and is primed for major growth. Job Summary: This position is responsible for the development/enhancement of our data security products. Primary Responsibilities: *Assist in the development of software solutions that support the Company's business needs and objectives*Create and develop functional requirements*Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments *Debug and trace reported problems to determine the root cause of problems independently*Provide and/or implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards *Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components *Coordinate software system installation and monitor functionality to ensure operational specifications are met *Provide technical support to our customers as required*Participate in meetings with internal and external customers to understand their requirements and propose solutions Qualifications/Technical Skills: - 2+ years of qualified experience with cloud operations involving KVM, RedHat hypervisors. Must have system- and scale-level understanding of multi-tenant operations. Must demonstrate hands-on working with tech sysops/sysadmins and clients.- 2+ years of docker and OpenShift deployment including Dockerfile, docker-compose scripting and testing- 2+ years of Active Directory (AD) services including cyber security procedures, integration with LDAP, and integration for RedHat deployments- 2+ years of proficient bash shell scripting or equivalent Python Linux system integration programming- Familiarity with security procedures for various remote access methods including RDP, xRDP, and various versions of VPN.
