Access World USA is looking for an ambitious Senior Systems Administrator. What to ExpectThe Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration, design, maintenance, and provisioning of the company technology structure. The Senior Systems Administrator assists in the development of best practices for all systems including servers and network devices. Works closely with regional Systems Administrators to ensure maximum availability of network services and minimize downtime of global infrastructure for Production environments. Responsibilities Include:Provide tier 1 and tier 2 support to end users, as well as escalations that may come from junior members of the IT teamAssist in implementation of Microsoft Dynamics ERP 2012 R3 for the Global Operations and Finance teamsManage Access World infrastructure across all local sites and in the cloud; Microsoft AzureDeveloping and maintaining relationship with external IT Service ProviderManaging users and user groups on systems running on our infrastructureBuild and maintain vendor relationships to optimize service and product options for the companyManaging equipment within the infrastructurePerform other IT-related projects as neededAssist in the planning, design, documentation, configuration, and implementation of various information systems to include; Servers, Switches, Routers, Firewalls and Software applications Position Requirements- Experience, Education and Skills:High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in related field preferred)Minimum of five (5) years' experience in an IT support roleSupervising experience is a mustExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to relay technical information effectively and communicate with all levels of the organization.Experience handling multiple environments: Development, Test, Pre-Production, ProductionWorking knowledge of networking and connectivity involving: LAN, VLAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN (IPSec), NAT, PAT, DNS (Public and Private), DHCPExperience with the following Microsoft Technologies; Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft ExchangeExperience with the following; Active Directory Domain Services, Distributed File System (DFS), Group Policy, Terminal Services, Virtualization, Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and testingProject management experience preferred
