Due to significant growth, Kearney is adding an IT Systems Administrator to provide technical computer hardware and software support to end users as well as assist with server and network maintenance. Install, configure, and maintain laptops, workstations, file servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures monitors, disk drives, broadband cards, CD ROM units, printers, and related equipment. Diagnose hardware, software and operator problems; identify source and possible solutions; test and implement solutions. Research issues that have not previously been experienced or documented to determine what might be causing the malfunction Assist in the implementation of network security, including building firewalls, encrypting hard drives, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users Repair printers, a/v equipment and other non-computer office equipment. Conduct new hire orientation for laptop/email usage/IT security. Update company intranet website monthly, or as needed. Document network problems and solutions. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or the equivalent (GED); Associates Degree preferable Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT experience Working knowledge of Microsoft server and operating systems. Strong knowledge of laptops, pcs, printers and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull PC equipment, objects or materials up to fifty (50) pounds is required. Physical activity required including bending, reaching, lifting, crawling and pro-longed periods of sitting, standing and/or walking. Ability to obtain and maintain an interim US security clearance (US citizenship required) kco2019 Work location is subject to change based on client requirements.
