Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service in a retail sales activity.
  • Demonstrates and sells specialized merchandise to customers.
  • May operate a cash register, make change, and complete charge transactions.
  • Maintains merchandise by stocking shelves, displaying goods and keeping the area neat and orderly.
  • Keeps related sales records as necessary.

  • Test Designated Position: In accordance with NSA Policy and Executive Order 12564 this position is subject to random drug testing as a condition of employment.
  • Appointment is subject to successful completion and favorable results of fingerprints, Installation Record Checks, and a Credit Check to determine suitability for this position.
  • Appointment is subject to successful completion and ability to maintain a favorable Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) and/or polygraph examination to determine suitability for this position.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Knowledge of basic math.

HIGHLY PREFERRED:

1. Possess six (6) months work experience as a cashier in a retail setting.
AND
2. Possess work experience operating a digital cash register or computerized point of sales system (POS).
