Summary
The Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory Service (DCPAS) mission is to be the enterprise leader in the development and delivery of civilian personnel policies and HR solutions that strengthen mission readiness. DCPAS is responsible for developing and delivering civilian personnel policies and human resources solutions to strengthen the Department of Defense (DoD) civilian workforce's mission readiness and enhance all aspects of the total civilian lifecycle.

Responsibilities
As a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT (OA) at the GS-0203-7 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Providing staffing assistance and administrative clerical support to the Associate Director and staff of the Employment Integration office in performing routine technical duties in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) Human Resources initiatives.
- Using computer terminal, word processor and/or other office automation equipment and various software programs to create, copy, edit, store, retrieve and print a variety of documents. Producing correspondence memorandums, directives, forms reports and creating or maintaining spreadsheets or databases, etc.
- Resolving a variety of non-controversial problems and analyzing data, contributing ideas and recommendations to be used in complying with the directives and intent of employment and compensation.
- Assisting with special projects and studies on a variety of employment and compensation issues.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-07, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

- Using office automation technology such as word processing, graphics, electronic communications, database management spreadsheets, and/or other specialized programs to perform a wide range of computer-based tasks.
