Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing technical expertise to a group or team of ERP and System, Application and Product (SAP) administrators and to provide expert technical support in the area of Enterprise Resource Development.
  • Develops clear and consistent documentation and procedures of all SAP core ECC, ABAP, BOBJ, JAVA, PI, and Portal development activities.
  • Coordinates with functional teams to ensure translation of the functional requirements into technical ones are executed properly and on time.

  • This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology workforce position. All candidates must meet position requirements for certification at Level III in acquisition Career Field Information Technology within 24 months of occupying the position.

Qualifications

This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 12 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS grade 13 step 05 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-03 is to $112,393 including locality at the rate of 29.32%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.

To qualify for an IT Specialist position, you must have IT-related experience and meet the specialized experience of the position. The IT-related experience must demonstrate each of the four competencies listed below based at the grade level required of the position being filled:
1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3) Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

In addition to the competencies above, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (NH-02/GS-11) in the Federal service which includes: (1) Ensuring system requirements align with the current processes and procedures in place and deadlines and priorities are clear, documented, and delivered within a large enterprise-scale software system. and (2) Performing basic functional and technical trouble shooting to resolve production and performance support issues.
