This position is in the Finance organization on the Risk and Finance Strategic Ops (RFSO) team. The RFSO team provides data project execution and operations support. The Manager will be leading and supporting a team of developers and application support personnel to ensure projects are delivered on a timely basis and monitor jobs daily for any failures and address quickly and efficiently as possible.

Your Work Falls into These Primary Categories:

Project Execution & Operations Support
  • Overseeing development Dataflux jobs: Conceptualization, impact analysis, requirements gathering, process documentation and change management.
  • Managing the pipeline of work associated with Dataflux and prioritizing / assigning work to team members
  • Ensuring deliverable timelines are met
  • Creating and delivering status reports to senior management
  • Support SOX audit processes
  • Driving high level strategy and approach for supporting and increasing adoption of Dataflux and communicating the strategy to the stakeholders
  • Obtaining buy-in of the strategy and approach from management
  • Acting as the main point of contact between the Dataflux team and outside groups (both IT support groups and business stakeholders)
  • Developing and maintaining a productive working relationship with high-level portfolio/project sponsors, key client contacts and workstream leads to ensure cohesive execution
  • Synthesizing information from multiple workstreams / partners to create a unified program plan
  • Setting timelines and priority for team members
  • Acting as day to day decision maker for the Dataflux team
  • Overseeing and tracking each phase of project creation process (i.e. conceptualization through ongoing support/change management) in order to ensure teamwide deliverables are met
  • Establishing and continually refining internal team processes in order to deliver on communicated deadlines / promote transparency into the work being performed
  • Contributing to the creation of weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and adhoc status reporting
  • Identifying risks and issues; establish mitigation plan to facilitate issue resolution
  • Coaching or mentoring staff
  • Influencing others in sensitive situations, while maintaining effective relationships
  • Production Support of systems


Qualifications

  • College Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience as Business/Data Analyst and overall progressive experience supporting a divisional/enterprise data driven initiatives
  • 2+ years leading workstreams comprised of employees and/or consultants
  • Experience negotiating timelines with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience setting team priorities and individual team member priorities
  • Proven track record of managing multiple program workstreams
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changes
  • Experience with development projects as well as operational/production support teams
  • Experience developing and presenting information to/at executive levels
  • Experience establishing internal processes to manage work associated with multiple workstreams / objectives
  • Background with Accounting and Financials a plus (i.e. reconciliations)
  • Experience with SQL, DataFlux or like tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Visio etc.)
