IT Project Manager
Key Role:

Provide project management support within an acquisition category (ACAT) I major automated information system (MAIS) program for DoD health related IT systems. Coordinate and facilitate meetings, track risks and issues, monitor, and review vendor schedules. Provide input to the project management integrated master schedule, create project status reports and briefings, and advise the government on technical best practices in alignment with DoD policies.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with producing client-ready deliverables and briefing senior leadership

-Experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within program and project management, business case reports, risks, and issues

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

-Knowledge of the Joint capabilities integration and development (JCID) requirements process and software development life cycle (SDLC)

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree and 14+ years of project management experience; MA or MS degree and 10+ years of project management experience

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with implementing clinical information systems in the commercial or government sectors

-Experience in agile development efforts

-Experience with briefing senior leadership

-Experience with major and complex DoD IT or weapons systems

-Experience in the DHA or Military health system projects a plus

-Ability to adapt to changing priorities, show initiative, work in a team environment, and coordinate tasks with client supervisors in a fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Secret clearance

-Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe Certification
