B-Line Medical is seeking a lead A/V Technician who will be an on-site team leader and installation specialist. The primary responsibilities include installing cameras, microphones, DSPs, headphone amplifiers, control stations and other A/V equipment. This is a direct customer facing role with on-site personnel responsibilities which require strong leadership and execution skills. What you will be doing: Reviews project statement of work and technical documentation Ability to read functional diagrams, floor plans, RCPs, and other AV documentation Oversees and manages A/V installations meeting key milestones until full install completion Directs and leads on-site technicians validating efficiency, quality, and overall performance Manages equipment and materials on-site Maintains accurate drawings and technical documentation for as-built drawings Performs daily communication with project manager updating on project status, milestone completion and any customer requested changes Ability to perform independent troubleshooting of A/V issues or modifications as they arise Ability to install/terminate wall plates, speakers, racks, DSPs and other AV-related equipment Communicates with customer on system status, operation, and any concerns Ability to perform site surveys and site readiness assessments Ensures full system calibrations for audio and video installed system are performed on-site Ensures full control system test out with programming support Supports technical escalations from the support team Travels both domestically and internationally to customer sites up to 70% Works to ensure that customer satisfaction is always our highest priority What we are looking for: Passionate about the A/V industry and technology 3-5 years of A/V industry experience Preferred A/V related certificates - CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I Proficient in the construction process and MEP documentation Ability to terminate, install, and service AV equipment and systems High tolerance for pressure-filled environments Installation experience in any of the following roles: medical A/V systems, educational A/V systems, broadcast engineering Must be able to adjust to changing priorities and interruptions Ability to work flexible hours as required Ability to lift heavy loads, operate power tools and work at heights using ladders Superior interpersonal and customer service skills Must be able to maintain a can-do spirit and consistently demonstrate a positive attitude toward the work, fellow employees, and customers Experience with Crestron and other AMX control systems Experience with Symetrix and other DSP systems Experience with D-Tools
