We are seeking a Resident Concierge for 40 luxury rental apartments of this building located in DC's exciting West End. The Resident Concierge is the first-person prospects and residents meet when they come home. This person takes ownership and pride in creating stellar first impressions and building ongoing positive relationships and is responsible for providing outstanding frontline customer service to ensure resident satisfaction throughout stay. Specific duties include greeting and assisting residents, processing resident payments, and day-to-day maintenance of the reception area.


Front Desk Duties
  • Greet residents in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer all telephone calls and redirect callers as appropriate.
  • Manage check-in and check-out process of visitors/guests in an efficient and polite manner.
  • Provide knowledgeable and comprehensive information about the surrounding areas.
  • Assist in scheduling of move-ins and move-outs, scheduling and facilitating deliveries.
  • Provide guests with informational pamphlets, discount coupons, and other materials.
  • Handle guest mail, faxes, and deliveries in accordance with established practices and policies.

Customer Service
  • Handle questions and requests in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Resolve issues and complaints promptly and politely.
  • Accommodate residents' special requests whenever possible.
  • Maintain ownership of the process of resolving resident and guest complaints.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about hotel rooms, prices, services, and amenities as required.
  • Coordinate guest wake-up calls when required.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by remaining attentive to their needs.

Administrative and Cash Handling Duties
  • Calculate, prepare, and distribute guest bills.
  • Collect and process all payments, including cash, credit card, and checks.
  • Balance cash register at the end of each shift, and account for any discrepancies.
  • Prepare daily financial reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and resident identification

General Maintenance
  • Promptly report all maintenance needs, and coordinate maintenance and repairs with appropriate staff members.
  • Ensure reception and lobby areas remain clean and tidy at all times.


Formal Education and Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Luxury Hotel/Hospitality/Concierge: 2 years desirable, but not required.
