North American Technician Excellence (NATE) is the nation’s largest nonprofit certification organization for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) technicians. NATE has an opening for a Marketing Assistant in their Arlington, VA office. NATE is looking for a self-motivator with an ability to succeed in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, and analytical and writing abilities. This person will provide support in developing and producing marketing and business development related deliverables. This person will work on a variety of projects that include web site updates, email campaigns, text message campaigns, social media, and more. Works with Business Development Manager and the Senior Director, Operations, to determine the demand for products and services offered by NATE and its competitors.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote NATE certificate programs, tests and re-certification.
- Develop concept, content and oversee the production of the NATE. Advantage Newsletter and the NATE Magazine.
- Oversee all web communications, including website content management.
- Manage communications calendar and send messages on schedule.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing efforts; make recommendations for ongoing refinement based on results.
- Manage graphic design.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university) with an emphasis in Marketing/Public Relations/Public Affairs/Communications or related degree required.
Experience: 2-4 years related experience in a marketing or advertising role.
Computer Skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, PhotoShop, InDesign.
