Purpose of Job:

Plans, directs and coordinates services for residents at the Manor. Supervises all staff, programming, and admissions at the Manor and ensures proper treatment of our clients. Maintains a safe, orderly and therapeutic environment for the residents and maintains the quality management processes. LGPC/LMSW required, LCPC/LCSW-C preferred

Job Responsibilities:
• Initiates and implements complete, comprehensive psychosocial assessments
• Provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families
• Participates in and interdisciplinary treatment team to propose and develop strategies and interventions that would promote excellent therapeutic outcomes
• Supervises all Manor staff and operations, treatment teams, staff meetings and other programming meetings as required
• Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team, referral sources, and community resources aftercare and supportive services to ensure a successful discharge planning process
• Promotes positive patient-family-community relations
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to diffuse psychotic and/or behavioral crises to ensure client, unit, and staff safety and stability
• Prepare reports to DHR, Adventist Healthcare and other bodies regarding patient care and programming
• Endure and oversee compliance with COMAR regulations to include staff educational training and maintaining integrity of the physical plant

• Master's Degree in Social Work /Counseling or equivalent master's degree in a recognized health field
• 2-5 years' experience preferred
• LGSW/LGPC in the State of Maryland, LCSW-C/LCPC preferred

• Flexibility in Work Hours in Order to Meet patient and Organization Operating Needs Required
• Ability to Consistently Meet Deadlines Regardless of Caseload Required
• Ability to Maintain Self-Control in Volatile/Hostile Situations, e.g., When Being Verbally and/or Physically Confronted by a Client or Family Member Required
• Ability to Maintain Therapeutic Boundaries with Clients during Treatment and Following Discharge Required
• Ability to Set Therapeutic Limits and Maintain Therapeutic Distance with Clients Required
• Ability to Address an Prioritize Multiple Task Demands Within Established Time Frames Required

M-F 8:3--5:00
