Qualified candidates will possess:
• Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a minimum of an Bachelor's Degree preferred or DPT
• Active Maryland PT license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One year of current acute care physical therapist experience within your specialty in a hospital environment

Responsibilities:

* Provide physical therapy consults and treatments in the acute care setting.
* Develop treatment plans, goals, and provide patient/family education.
* Includes Med-Surg, Intermediate and Intensive Care settings.
* Diagnostic groups include Ortho & Neuro surgery; Cardiopulmonary - including open heart surgery; and general Medical-Surgical.

Work Schedule:

*Minimum of two weekend shifts per month and holiday shifts in Acute Care

Prior acute care experience preferred.

Prior experience preferred with early mobility in the ICU setting.

Prior experience with EMR documentation.
