Dewberry is currently seeking a Billing Specialist in our Corporate Accounting and Financial Services Team for our growing A&E service company. Position will be located in Fairfax, Virginia .


  • Review and support of job setup.
  • Provide contract billing support to multiple Project Managers.
  • Interpret contracts from a billing and cost perspective.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and others involved in tracking job status.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related area preferred or equivalent experience required.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in project accounting in an Architectural, Engineering or Construction firm or a similar project accounting function in another consulting industry preferred.
  • JD Edwards experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A self-starter capable of providing strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
