Dietetic Assistant:
Responsible for the accurate and timely distribution and collection of the patient's menus, tray set-up, delivery and pick-up of patient food trays. Manages the par-levels of inventory in the assigned nursing station, including sanitation. Shows initiative and good judgment in meeting patient needs and requests in a team atmosphere. Maintains effective communication with the diet office; acting as a liaison between the units and the Food Service department.

Qualified candidates will possess:
• Ability to clearly speak and read English
• High School Diploma or GED
• Food Handlers Certification is helpful
• Experience in hospital food service is helpful
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to help in whatever way is needed
• Pleasant and friendly personality
• Basic computer skills

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 3:45 pm - 7:45 pm alternating weekends and holidays
