The Operations Manager of Admissions handles the logistics (back-end) of admissions, managing any external materials that enter the admissions office including, but not limited to, transcripts, letters of recommendation, essays, and emails. S/he uploads all materials to the applicant's files, running a daily report to attach any previously saved materials. Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Operations Manager of Admissions has additional responsibilities that include bit are not limited to:
  • Opens the admissions mail to check for materials like transcripts or letters of recommendation.
  • Downloads electronic transcripts sent to the SCS inbox.
  • Reviews and manages all messages in the SCS inbox within a 48-hour turnaround time.
  • Uploads all materials into applicant's files in Target X or saves them internally until the applicant applies.
  • Runs daily reports on new applications to ensure previously sent materials are attached.
  • Emails applicants if any new materials are required (for example, a transcript from a school with transfer credit).
  • Assists with phones during high volume times and streamlines processes within admissions.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One or more years of progressive experience in an organizational setting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with database maintenance
  • Detail-oriented team player with the ability to provide high levels of service
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and Application Systems such as: Salesforce and Banner preferred
