Summary

You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISSTANT in the Comptroller Department (N4) of CWG-SIX.

All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide administrative services support directly to the N41 Division Officer in the Comptroller Department, N4 of the Cryptologic Warfare Group -SIX.
  • You will assist in the management of the of the CWG-Six Travel Program.
  • You will maintain the office filing system.
  • You will assist or make travel and hotel arrangements for immediate staff to include preparing and submitting travel orders, preparing itineraries and submitting travel vouchers for payment upon completion of trips.
  • You will review clerical and administrative documents and reports for consistency, accuracy, grammar, punctuation and clarity of thought.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in locating, selecting, extracting, and collating administrative data to be used by senior specialists or managers; 2) Participating in the compiling and summarizing information and data, identify inaccuracies or anomalies in the information, and make recommendations to resolve discrepancies based on application of existing policies and procedures; 3) Typing correspondence, reports, studies, and messages in final form.

For GS-5 level positions (except Clerk-Stenographer, which does not require specialized experience), only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement. One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience.
