This position will function as a regional Senior Admissions Officer assuming full responsibility for a geographic admissions region. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Organizing the recruitment of prospective students by counseling applicants and their families about academic programs, student life, financial aid and admissions standards.
- Assuming responsibility for advising accepted students to enroll.
- Coordinating the efforts of the Alumni Admissions Program committees within their Admissions region. This includes public relations efforts; coordination of the interview assignment; travel to assigned region to visit high schools; participate in joint recruitment activities; and host meetings for local alumni.
- Collaborating with selected Admissions Committees to evaluate and process the academic credentials and personal qualifications of applicants to make accurate admissions decisions.
- Participating in the Admissions decision making process.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required
- Master's degree is preferred
- Three or more years of prior admissions experience is preferred
