Requirements

Data Manager, Clinical Research Management Office (CRMO) - Georgetown University Medical Center

The Data Management position is vital to the research process. The Data Manager is responsible for managing the data of clinical trials and ensuring that the data collection is clear, accurate and secure. At the discretion of management, duties include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for multiple trials at various stages of the research process. Acts as the point person for assigned trials, working directly with the clinical study team, regulatory team, research laboratory techs, nursing staff and all clinical trial representatives.
  • Accurately capture data in appropriate format in electronic or paper Case Report Forms (CRFs) adhering to multiple time demands.
  • Collect and organize source documents in paper charts for sponsor, institutional and cooperative studies.
  • Ensure query resolution in a timely manner.
  • Interact with pharmaceutical sponsors, auditors, study monitors, physicians and study coordinators as necessary.
  • Collaborate closely with study coordinators to maintain protocol integrity.
  • Work directly with imaging technician and sponsors to ensure radiology images are uploaded to imaging platform according to protocol.
  • Responsible for preparing for and scheduling of monitor visits, audits and QA review.
  • Must participate in disease team meeting and site initiation visits.
  • Adhere to Georgetown University Medical Center's philosophy, policies and procedures.
  • Compliance with Human Subject Protection, patient confidentiality HIPAA and GCP.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Science related field
  • 1 year of related experience in clinical research
