Do you enjoy working closely with political consultants and organizations to make a positive impact on the election cycle for Democratic nominees and the Progressive agenda? Our partner, a digital advertising firm works hand in hand with Democratic campaigns and progressive organizations to deliver intelligent, creative, strategic and targeted digital content to connect advertisers to the most impactful audiences. This firm is hiring for a Business Development Director who will play an integral role in both growing and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for the mission, drive outreach and sales and have both strong writing and financial development skills to achieve organizational goals. Apply below.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue by both maintaining existing client relationships as well as creating new ones.
  • Find and follow new leads and respond to RFPs.
  • Perform online demonstrations and face-to-face pitches.
  • Manage numerous projects on set deadlines.
  • Manage sales plans to reach or exceed goals.
  • Work collaboratively and resourcefully while remaining client-focused.

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • 5-7 years of demonstrated successful sales experience, ideally in political technologies, media sales or ad tech.
  • Fluid in proposal writing, creating new business, and pitching to clients, both new and existing.
  • Successful track record of building new client relationships and managing and exceeding sales goals.
  • Committed to progressive values and high standards of conduct and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Salesforce preferred, familiar with Google Apps, and a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Project Management tools such as Asana, highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
