Position Summary Learning Heroes has an immediate opening for a Manager, Marketing and Partnerships. Reporting to the Vice President for Content and Partnerships this position will be responsible for supporting the promotion of Learning Heroes' research and campaigns among critical external audiences. The position is also responsible for helping cultivate and expand partnerships with parenting, education, civil rights, and media organizations that aid in the development, distribution, and communication of content to diverse parent demographics, specifically low-income parents and parents of color. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in marketing/ communications and partner relations. Essential Responsibilities and Tasks Implement comprehensive marketing, communications, and PR programs under the direction of the SVP of Strategy and Communications, that increase the visibility of Learning Heroes, our research, and seasonal campaigns. Create and implement organic digital marketing strategy, overseeing regular tweets and Facebook posts, as well as email marketing efforts. Oversee the development and maintenance of marketing materials and resources, including but not limited to social media toolkits, seasonal campaign one-pagers, PowerPoint presentations, and our branding guide. Organize, promote and successfully execute quarterly webinars for external audiences. Maintain and update the Learning Heroes partner database. Monitor trends in the education and parenting space as it relates to the work of Learning Heroes to ensure that our voice is part of the national dialogue. Help develop a diverse network of "Learning Heroes" to include parents of all backgrounds who can be available for media interviews, videos, features on the website, etc. Communicate as needed with reporters, columnists, and bloggers to keep them updated on the work of Learning Heroes Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability Bachelor's degree, and 5-7 years of relevant and progressive work experience. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with team members. Excellent marketing and relationship building skills. Ability to communicate effectively and accurately with varied and diverse audiences. Sense of humor and self-starter Strong writing and editing skills. A deep understanding of social media strategies, trends and post optimization. Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Go to Meeting, or similar platform, and InDesign proficiency. Working knowledge of the Cision, Meltwater, Constant Contact or similar newsletter platforms, Survey Monkey, and Hoot Suite or a similar platform. Ability to multi-task and prioritize under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Well organized, detail-oriented, and analytical. Entrepreneurial spirit, strong problem-solving skills, and creative thinking skills.
