Electrical Technician Hunt Valley, MD Shift: 2:30-pm-11:00 pm 3rd 10:00pm-6:30am Label, wire and connect switch boxes and control panel terminal boards from basic wiring diagrams. Check wiring for proper coding and termination. Check for shorts, grounds and continuity. Participate in testing of completed machines, diagnose and remedy electrical programs. Detect defective material, unusual conditions or operating difficulties and report to proper supervision. Complete necessary documentation to ensure quality and production requirements. Be an active participant in team meetings to communicate and help resolve any cost, quality, or production issues. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Competencies: Must be able to read schematics. Must have demonstrated knowledge of industrial electrical concepts and principles. Must have basic understanding of electrical components and use in industrial design of cabinets. Understand and operate various hand and power tools used in electrical assembly. Willingness to assist assembly team with other duties as required. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills; be able to independently solve problems while interacting with various teams and teammates on daily processes and flow. Must be capable of multi-tasking various duties throughout the day, have a positive attitude with an ability to be versatile and flexible.
