About the Position The Program Manager for District Recruitment and Educator Training will be primarily responsible for recruitment and outreach to districts, support of Extension and Alumni schools, and facilitation of in-person professional learning as needed. This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in a national initiative that leverages technology in support of teaching and learning. Travel Approximately 60% domestic travel Responsibilities Serve as primary point of contact for recruitment. Reach out to district leaders in target markets via email and phone to ensure they are aware of the opportunity and application process Support district leaders through the application process Manage sharing of application materials with Digital Promise and Westat teams as part of review process; ensure all applications are reviewed by required stakeholders Review, score and provide feedback on applications Produce twice-monthly status reports on outreach and applications Conduct site visits to potential and existing schools in the network Conduct on-site training for schools as needed Assist in managing the Professional Learning schedule with schools Work with peers to plan and host virtual and in-person convenings for school leaders and teachers Work with peers on process development and improvement Think, work and plan sequentially toward initiative outcomes, constantly managing multiple deadlines and needs of different stakeholders Other duties as assigned Qualifications Master�s degree or equivalent experience in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or related field. Teaching experience at the middle school level or above Experience coaching teachers in a school setting Successful presentation/facilitation experience with adult learners Experience working with district leadership on professional development plans for schools or initiative implementation at the school level Basic understanding of school district technology environments and product deployment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google environments Outstanding communication and influencing skills with all school district stakeholders Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skills, while maintaining diplomacy and professionalism. Demonstrated ability to meet quantitative and qualitative objectives. Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. Exceptional project management skills including the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously using prioritization and delegation Ability to work as a strong individual contributor on the national team Ability to clearly communicate and inspire others to think about how digital technology supports learning Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and in multiple formats (virtual, multimedia, face-to-face, etc.) Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions A passion for education, a team mentality, creativity, and a positive �can-do� �yes-and� spirit Compensation Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.
