Looking for a senior level marketing role at an energetic & passionate company Gelman, Rosenberg & Freedman, a Bethesda, MD CPA Firm is in search of a Senior Marketing Specialist to join our team. Summary of Position: The Senior Marketing Specialist displays a positive, collaborative attitude and embraces the firm's award-winning culture. Responsibilities include development of marketing collateral and communications, marketing campaign planning and execution, proposal strategy and development, event strategy and logistics, thought leadership writing and support, website and social media strategy, client relationship management, and ROI reporting and analysis. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Establishes the business development approach for strategic targets and manages the proposal process. Develops high quality proposals for strategic targets that highlight the firm's differentiators and directs the Marketing Coordinator on basic proposal responses Plans and executes targeted marketing campaigns aligned with the firm's strategic plan that incorporate appropriate branding and visual presentation Writes and edits thought leadership and other client-facing communications related to website, social media, newsletters, industry alerts, speaking proposals, award submissions and event invitations Develops marketing collateral to support new service areas and geographies, as well as conferences and events Provides planning, promotion and execution of webinars, seminars, sponsorships, conference and other events for maximum return on investment Tracks, analyses and reports return on investment related to website and social media as well as events, conferences and sponsorships Qualifications: Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field 7-10 years of combined marketing and administrative experience Experience in professional services marketing or equivalent Proficiency in the Microsoft suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Graphic design and publication experience Strong writing and analytical skills for development of effective copy related to thought leadership, advertisements, website, social media and marketing collateral Event management experience including strategy, planning, logistics, promotion and follow-up Experience managing social media, corporate websites, search engine optimization, data analytics, e-marketing and CRM Excellent oral and written communications skills Excellent research, organizational and detail-oriented skills Working conditions: Candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to and from off-site events with materials as needed This is a full time position.
