Responsibilities of the Security Management Center Manager: Assist the NOAA Office in planning, developing and implementing a Security Management Center Coordinate, report amd implement common process for daily, weekly monthly, quarterly and yearly audits Manage forensic analysis, review Tier 1 and 2 security logs and complete reports Detect potential information system vulnerabilities and issues with internal system and enterprise tools supplied by NOAA and OSPO (eg, ArcSight, Tripwire Log Center, Tenable Security Center (TSC), NESSUS, WebInspect, IBM BigFix suite (ECMO), and Nipper Studio) Provide Incident Response (IR) support, coordinating with the NOAA Cyber Incident Response Team (N-CIRT) Manage Vulnerability Assessments, Secure Websites and security monitoring Requirements of the Security Management Center Manager: 10+ years in IT security operations management Experience establishing a Security Operations Center, including associated tools, processes, incident handling, resolution, forensics and network hunting CISSP or Security+ certification Advanced written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, multi-tasking, organizational and decision making skills Experience working with security systems Knowledge of networking systems (OSI network layers, TCP/IP) Keywords: Security management, Management Center Manager, NOAA, operations management, information system, security Job ID: 317981 About Eliassen Group: Eliassen Group provides strategic talent solutions to drive our clients' innovation and business results.
