Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an Enterprise Data Architect. This position will be working out of the McLean (VA) location. This position is contingent upon award. The Enterprise Data Architect must have or be capable of the following: Significant experience in analyzing systems and functional requirements with emphasis on interaction and integration between systems. Experienced dealing with complex systems and the functional or technical requirements for system integration. Experienced in architectural planning and service-oriented, architecture-based solutions. Experienced in application development and integration techniques from a functional or technical perspective. Experienced in management of functional and/or technical teams. Lead the overall solution and architecture for a complex software development program. Able to make technical recommendations and Client out a good technical approach. Able to lead technical staff members performing in accordance with that vision. Good communication skills with both clients and staff members. Able to write well and speak well. Able to manage customer expectations, and monitor technical progress. Familiar with current or modern approaches to similar technical problems or requirements. Able to earn the respect of a bright team, meet customer needs, and be held accountable for technical outcomes.Requirements include: Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an Enterprise Data Architect. This position will be working out of the McLean (VA) location. This position is contingent upon award. Experience designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant and reliable applications to the cloud. Minimum of five (5) years of relevant hands-on experience as a solutions architect for systems of similar size and scope to this project. Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to: Multi-tier application architectural design. Experience designing and developing cloud-based services (microservices, etc.) and Application Programming Interfaces (API) for cloud service orchestration. Experience developing and implementing cloud cost optimization strategies. Experienced with several open source technology stack and web frameworks; some or all of the technology stack: Java, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Maven, Jenkins, NodeJS, AngularJS. Strong knowledge of LINUX operating system. Experienced in Search & Big Data Technologies like Apache Spark, Yarn/Hadoop, Dropwizard/Tomcat/Jetty, Jersey/Jackson, Solr/Elasticsearch/Lucene, Hbase and MapR. Strong understanding of web hosted applications and databases, especially PostgreSQL. Must have prior hands-on experience migrating complex, multi-tiered systems to the cloud. Must have prior hands-on experience designing and developing Cloud workflow-based services. Must have prior hands-on experience selecting appropriate cloud services for specific system requirements. Strong oral and communication skills. Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English. Able to write well and explain complex technical subject matter. Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.Desired: Prior experience on Federal IT projects. AWS cloud Solution Architect certification. Other cloud vendor certification. Agile related Certification.Education Required: Master's degree or equivalent and 12 years of relevant experience or bachelor's and 15 years of relevant experience.This position may be located at the NARA location 8601 Adelphi Road, College Park, MD or at our DSA McLean VA Office. MUST HAVE ELIGIBILITY TO OBTAIN PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE; this will be verified prior to interview.
