Position Description In this role, you ll work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. And troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments. Required Skills 2-5 years of hands on UNIXLinux systems administration experience In depth knowledge of common protocols like SMTP, POP, IMAP, DNS, FTP and HTTP Proven programming andor scripting experience (bash, perl, python, etc.) Experience with network troubleshooting, design, security and management a plus. Use of IPTABLES. Working knowledge of DevOPS and configuration management. Use of CM tools like Chef Experience with logging and auditing, syslogs, splunk, etc. Ability to troubleshoot issues at an application level Desired Java development experience Fundamental knowledge of software development principles.
