Description Experienced FD Project Manager to provide oversight for logistics, protocol, and meeting arrangements as part of a contractor team providing senior military leadership development and training. The position requires organizing, coordinating, planning, facilitating, and arranging meetings, seminars, conferences, and events in support of senior leadership program development activities. The FD Project Manager must have expertise in leadership development for the total force, including Officer, Enlisted, and Civilian personnel. This position provides the customer with expert advice in the development coordination and implementation of policy, concepts, and guidance for Force Development and assists mission leadership with creating measurable processes for targeting and achieving an effective, efficient, future senior leadership force. The FD Project Manager must work effectively the under pressure of changing deadlines, possess the ability to easily adapt to changing situations, and work well with executive personnel and leadership. Requirements Advanced degree in leadership development, education or like field of study. Demonstrated specialized experience and/or knowledge with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas: Planning and coordinating major executive level meetings and/or major conferences and events. Ability to manage, track, and coordinate a wide range of actions, arrangements, and tasks through completion to include planning (long range), setting priorities, organizing, delegating, and executing, and translating requirements into project plans and milestones. Leading processing re-engineering efforts (eg, Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Process Improvement). Analyzing requirements, developing and implementing strategic planning actions and making recommendations concerning the direction of the customer's agency to include the ability to develop long-range FD and senior leadership training plans and strategies, preferably in an Air Force environment. Organizing information, and communicating clearly in a fast-paced environment. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively at senior levels. Understanding of military and civilian ranking structures and protocol matters. Proficient in MS Office products. by Jobble
