Media Relations Manager
Key Role:

Serve as a press, media, and crisis communications professional and support local and market-facing media relations in the US government, commercial markets, and corporate communications. Demonstrate knowledge of the latest communications tactics and capabilities, and strategic vision to support innovation for the execution of media relations, including identifying and leveraging creative channels in local markets and apply experience with providing media relations to technology firms and the US government. Provide media support for regional executives, coordinate with members of an external PR agency team, execute across traditional and non-traditional media with paid, shared, and owned media channels; develop and execute market-facing media relations strategy, and coordinate and align with government relations, marketing, and the firm's community partnerships team.

Basic Qualifications:

-8+ years of experience with media relations and corporate communications in the technology industry or government agencies

-Experience with integrated communications, including marketing, branding, and message development, focusing on national and regional geographic markets

-Experience with supporting executives

-Experience with managing integrated media and marketing campaigns, including traditional print and broadcast media and digital, video, and graphics production

-Experience in a PR agency or managing members of a PR agency team as a client, including a record of developing and introducing innovative practices

-Experience with supporting events for media relations.

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with commercial media relations

-Experience as a supervisor

-Possession of excellent interpersonal, organizational, research, writing, and editing skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
