You will leverage your subject matter expertise, your organizational, collaboration, and presentation skills, and your creativity and laser sharp customer focus to help manage and promote new and negotiated affordable executions and initiatives, working closely with business partners across the organization.

Your work falls into four primary categories:
  • Lead and manage Sales' participation in and/or implementation of new initiatives sponsored and developed by our Affordable Lending and Access to Credit department.

-Work closely with Affordable Lending to understand initiative objectives and what is required of Sales and our customers.
-Drive analysis around customer eligibility and selection for participation, working closely with the sales management team
and account executives.
-Work with subject matter experts and the marketing team on development of supporting collateral.
-Lead and/or participate in sales presentations to customers.
-Provide customer feedback to interested and impacted internal stakeholders.
  • Represent Affordable Lending Sales Solutions on corporate projects to support Freddie Mac affordable lending activities, products, and programs.

-Draw on experience and ability to learn quickly to contribute to successful project implementation.
-Identify impacts on Sales activities and our customers, and represent those impacts to the project team, with an eye
toward solving for any challenges and planning for implementation activities involving Sales and the Affordable Lending
Sales Solutions team.
-Review and provide feedback on sales collateral and messaging.
  • Support and in some cases, lead the development and negotiation of Sellers' affordable lending business opportunities.

-Utilizing a consultative sales approach and strong project management skills, develop a thorough understanding of
customers' business models and strategies, to contribute to optimizing the value of the business relationship to both the
customer and Freddie Mac.
-Create and contribute to innovative, thorough, and practicable solutions.
-Serve as a primary resource for Affordable Lending Sales Solutions' transaction executives and as a secondary resource
for account executives in support of non-standard affordable lending transactions
  • Formulate and drive research and development of analyses to support affordable lending activity in the Sales organization.

-Define data and analysis needs to identify and make recommendations regarding potential business opportunities.

-Review analyses and research from internal stakeholders to support existing and identify new business opportunities.
-Coordinate, support, and create internal reporting in support of Sales' affordable lending efforts.


  • A minimum of 8-10 years of related experience
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Sales experience and consultative sales skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience
  • Transaction and project management skills (PMP certification not required)
  • Good customer service skills
  • Collaborative, good communicator, team worker
  • Skilled in networking for driving results
  • Ability to manage and/or participate in multiple projects, transactions, and/or initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong Excel skills
