OverviewJob Title: Retail KeyholderSOLSTICE Keyholders are the Store Manager's fleet of right-hands! They are the regular openers and closers of their location, who act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring the store consistently achieves sales goals and executes all operational functions. This position leads by example and reinforces our customer service standards with the team, representing SOLSTICE's core values and selling culture to create an outstanding store experience.ResponsibilitiesIncludes all Selling Specialist duties, as well as: Model and lead store selling and service efforts, ensuring personal goals are met, while driving store sales and productivityIn the absence of the Store Manager, or as assigned, operate as the Manager-on-DutyAssist with training and supervision of staff to develop and maintain store selling, customer service skills and product knowledge; coach and guide Selling Specialists and peersStay up-to-date with Corporate communication; ensure the store team is kept informedSelf-motivated/takes initiative to ensure all operational functions are being completed accurately and timely; delegate, direct and prioritize tasks, as neededWhen the Store Manager is not present, communicate as needed with the store's District Manager (DM) and Regional Manager (RM)Partner with SM, DM, RM and/or Loss Prevention to address concerns related to unsatisfactory performance and policy violations in a timely matterAccountable to opening/closing the store on-timeEnsure visual, housekeeping and safety standards are upheld throughout the entire storeQualifications Prior retail or customer service experience necessary, preferably in a similar role; experience with luxury goods a plusPassion for fashion, trends and styleDemonstrate strong leadership qualities; approachable, engaging with proven conflict resolution skillsOperates well in a fast-paced environment; adapts well to changes in traffic patterns, environments, tasks, etc.; proven time management and organizational skillsPositive attitude and approach to work; remains motivated and productive during downtimeExcellent verbal and written communication skills; is able to adapt style, as neededProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and eMailStrong attention to detailConfident and matureReliable and punctualAble to work flexible hoursAbility to stand for long periods of time*Ability to climb a ladderAbility to lift and carry 25 poundsHigh School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred
