Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer of Constellis, the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will need to be an individual who can move quickly and is not afraid of a challenge. The CHRO will work closely with the senior executives of the organization to transform the HR function and support the company's continued evolution. The CHRO will be responsible for creating and implementing HR strategy, structure, and processes, while ensuring that day to day operations of the organization remain uninterrupted. Architect and implement a human resources function that is scalable, sustainable, and strategic.. Provide counsel to the leadership team on enterprise-wide, strategic people initiatives, program development, and operational opportunities.. Forge relationships across the business to align human resources strategies, policies, and processes with the business's current and future goals.. Lead and inspire the HR team, with a strong focus on development, collaboration, and transparency.. Drive workforce planning efforts in alignment with short and long-term business needs.. Lead the process for talent identification, development, and succession. Collaborate with leaders across the organization to ensure their teams are leveraging development programs and initiatives.. Implement metrics, run reports, and analytics to measure value, efficiency, and effectiveness of processes. Benchmark best practices internally and externally and upgrade as needed and when appropriate.. Develop and implement consistent and competitive HR practices in the areas of total rewards, talent acquisition, and talent management.. Proactively manage union contracts and collective bargaining agreements.. Continuously drive the most appropriate organizational design and structures to support the critical strategies of the business.. Support M&A by leading HR due diligence and integration activities. Effectively integrate new acquisitions and create a process to bring acquired companies under the umbrella of a single strategy, vision, and culture.. Other duties as assigned.. QUALIFICATIONS. Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.. 15+ years of progressive human resources experience.. Defense industry experience preferred, but not required.. Proven ability to establish and lead an effective HR function, including staffing, team building, HR analytics, talent acquisition, and performance management tools and systems and the development and implementation of total rewards strategies.. Experience building or transforming HR in a complex, high-growth environment.. Proven track-record in talent development and talent retention with experience overseeing the broad HR function, including compensation and change leadership.. Exposure to and working knowledge of union negotiations/labor relations.. Exceptional business and financial acumen. Experience developing and implementing organizational structures to support company strategy while achieving organizational goals.. Experience working with multiple business units to ensure strategic alignment of goals.. Dedicated and analytical leader with the tenacity, grit, and natural fortitude to address challenging situations head-on and motivate others to do the same. A candid and proactive advisor.. Able to build trust and respect quickly as an organizational leader with a priority for the development of staff enterprise-wide. A capability builder at the organizational level as well as the individual level.. Able to deal effectively with strategic issues, as well as tactical operational details.. Excellent relationship building, interpersonal, and influencing skills with clients and colleagues. Anticipate the needs of stakeholders and ask the right questions at the right time.. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.. May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs.
