Responsibilities: Job DescriptionThe purpose of this job is to collect outstanding customer balances. Duty or ResponsibilityWork with monthly aging report focusing on collections of outstanding balancesProcessing and referring delinquent accounts to third party collection agencyUsing multiple working Excel spreadsheets to keep records and log progress for self, manager, and peer reviewWork with the sales staff at our contact center to resolve customer accounting issuesResearch billing issues related to customer accounts.Duty or ResponsibilityWork with monthly aging report focusing on collections of outstanding balancesEvaluating creditworthiness of new customers using credit bureau software and making decisions on new order requestsProcessing and referring delinquent accounts to third party collection agencyUsing multiple working Excel spreadsheets to keep records and log progress for self, manager, and peer reviewWork with the sales staff at our contact center to resolve customer accounting issuesResearch billing issues related to customer accountsProficiency Experience/Knowledge/Skills * 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)* Intermediate understanding of basic accounting principles* Intermediate understanding of online retail transactions* Intermediate knowledge and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook* Detail oriented, with a strong math aptitude and very strong analytic skills* Outstanding oral & written communication skills* Standard office and computer equipment including MS Office software.* Develops relationships with external customers with frequent interaction with relevant internal department **Will on the phone majority of the day.**Phone presence and professionalism is a must**About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
