This position is located in Wholesale Securities Services/Division of Program Support/Resource Management Branch. The position involves conducting studies and directing special projects, reporting findings and making recommendations to management officials, and ensuring the implementation of adopted proposals.

Responsibilities

As a Management and Program Analyst, you will:
- Identify and develop methods and procedures to resolve problems or cope with issues that affect the accomplishment of principal goals and objectives of the budget planning and execution process employed within Fiscal Service.
- Coordinate responses to requests for program information including confidential information that requires in-depth analysis to determine the ability to be released to requestor due to sensitive nature of organizational information.
- Conduct broad or specific studies relevant to organizational goals and objectives.
- Compile data and perform statistical analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and initiatives.
- Undertake special assignments as directed by the Director that impact overall operations of the Bureau of the Fiscal Service.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience: Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as analyzing findings and serving as an advisor to management by making recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of programs and operations. Examples of this experience may include the following:
- Conducting studies and directing special projects; OR
- Composing oral and written presentations for delivery to management or service providers.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation. Periodic reinvestigation is required no later than five years after selection and at least every succeeding five years.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency
