The ideal candidate has experience installing and maintaining proper configuration of Solar Winds, MicroFocus / HP BSM / OMi and experience with Splunk and or AppDynamics is a plus. Job Responsibilities:* Perform in the capacity as a solutions architect* Design, develop, build, and test monitoring solutions as part of a team that introduces new technologies and/or improves existing technologies on the client's operational networks* Ensure that the solutions are fully documented and in compliance with applicable security requirements for the classification level of the system* Serve as the subject matter expert for one or more the following monitoring tools:* OMi* Solar Winds* SiteScope* Splunk* App Dynamics Technical Responsibilities include:* Installation of complex solutions* Configuration of Application Failover* Installation in a distributed or HA (High Availability) architecture* Technical writing Desired Skills and Experience:* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience in the field* In-depth knowledge of App Dynamics, SPLUNK, MoogSoft or the like.* Ability to convey complex technology ideas with a clear understanding of the customer business value* Demonstrated ability to work independently as a technical lead for large complex projects* Good presentation skills - can present technical ideas and solutions to engineers, managers, directors and executives Other Requirements* Because our customer is a government agency, they will require the ability to pass a government background investigation: No Criminal Record (felonies) US citizenship No Financial problems with the government (IRS)
