Summary: The Human Resources Manager (HRM) is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Director and the Human Resources Deputy Director in the day - to - day operations of the Human Resources Department supporting approximately 1000 employees. The HRM is responsible for working with the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Deputy Director to develop Company strategy and initiatives to promote and support FMCC's growth. The HRM will work closely with the Human Resources team to ensure that all Human Resources activities are enacted productively, effectively, efficiently and timely. Duties & Responsibilities:The HRM will provide support in the administration and effectiveness of FMCC's:Benefits Administration,Compensation,Compliance (Benefits & Employment),Culture,Employee Development,Employee Relations,Employment (Recruitment & Staffing),HRIS - interface with Human Resources,Learning & Development,Performance Management,Policies & procedures,Succession planning, andTrainingWill serve as the manager of the FMCC's compliance initiative including matters related to the ADA, ADEA, EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, OFCCP and more,Will have direct responsibility for special projects, initiatives and/or functions as assigned by the Director of Human Resources and/or the Human Resources Deputy Director,Will develop strong working relationships with and provide solid counsel to FMCC managers and staff,Will serve as a secondary source to assist leaders and managers with personnel concerns,Will conduct periodic audits and tests of Human Resources processes to ensure that they are in compliance with FMCC policy as well as all federal, state or local laws and regulations, andAdditional duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilityThe Human Resources Manager will supervise the Human Resources Generalists and Specialists.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a construction job site environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a desktop computer, laptop and cell phone,TravelMinimum travel is required.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent,PHR, PHR-CP or SHRM, SHRM-CP credential desired,Minimum of three (3) years of Human Resources' leadership experience,Minimum of seven (7) years of HR generalist & employee relations experience,Must possess a broad and deep understanding of multiple HR disciplines,Working knowledge of Federal & State employment laws and practices,Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred,Experience working with a large non-exempt workforce,Previous experience within construction, warehouse and/or distribution environments, Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel,Must work with a high level of confidentiality,Effective oral and written communication,Excellent interpersonal, diplomacy and coaching skills,Excellent organizational skills,Superior problem solving skills, andAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities.Preferred Education and ExperienceMasters' degree Human Resources, Business or equivalentExperience working with a unionized workforce, andExperience working in the construction industry.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and fully subscribe to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity.
