Human Resources Associate

The work performed by IAI NA in the United States is an integral part of the total Israel Aerospace Industries world-wide sales and support program. IAI North America is located in Arlington, Virginia and is looking for a Human Resources Associate to assist the HR Directors and the CHRO with a variety of duties, including new hire on-boarding, orientation, payroll and benefits administration, and special assignments as needed.Essential FunctionsAdministers payroll on a bi-weekly basis.Manages benefits program and vendor relationships. Assists employees with questions, issues and enrollment.Review monthly invoice from healthcare provides for accuracy and submit to finance for paymentMaintains database of employee records as well as all active and inactive applications.Conducts initial screening interviews and contacts references to verify background.Conducts all new-hire orientations.Assists with the development of new-hire training material.Coordinates flight, car and hotel arrangements for candidate interviews.Contributes to ongoing recruiting efforts as needed.Mitigates employee relation issues while adhering to company, state and federal laws and regulations.Maintains complete confidentiality of all HR-related information.Continually works with department to streamline the hiring process and improve internal policies.Required Education and Experience. 3 years' experience in corporate HR. Highly proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to maintain employee confidentiality. Superior attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
