Bates White Economic Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter in our Washington, DC office. The Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and implementing all recruiting programs including PhD, undergraduate (full-time and internship), and business support.The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:Undergraduate recruitingOrganizes on-campus events and interviews at 10 universitiesServes as main point of contact for candidates and university career centersCoordinates application review processLeads interview trainingSchedules onsite interviews and creates balanced interview schedulesConducts interviews and leads feedback meetings for 70+ candidates ensuring we make sound and quick offer decisionsLeads weekly leadership meetings and provides input for key decision-makingExtends offers to candidatesPhD recruitingPlans and coordinates all logistics for annual American Economic Association (AEA) conference in JanuaryAttends annual American Economic Association (AEA) conference in JanuaryResponsible for coordinating application download processWorks with Marketing Department to prepare recruiting materials and collateralWorks closely with HR Manager to coordinate interview schedules and feedback processBusiness Support recruitingCoordinates phone and onsite interviewsServes as main point of contact for recruiting agenciesWorks closely with hiring managers to understand recruiting needs and develops recruiting strategy for each openingConducts interviews and extends offersSummer Consultant ProgramServes as a member of the Summer Consultant Program leadership teamWorks closely with program leads to organize and plan various social outings (dinners, sailing trip, bowling, Nationals baseball game); attends all eventsConducts exit interviews for all Summer ConsultantsExtends full-time offer to Summer ConsultantsGeneralMaintains and updates all external job postings as well as internal requisitions in applicant tracking systemAdministers and documents good faith effortsCompletes employment verificationsJob qualificationsBachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field requiredAt least three years of recruiting experience (campus recruiting experience a plus); or at least two years of campus recruiting experienceExperience working in a professional services environment a plusExperience with an applicant tracking system required; experience with viRecruit a plusAbility to work overtime as needed during the busy recruiting season (August through February)Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong presentation skills; ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the firmStrong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong planning and organizational skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritize and multitask efficientlyAbility to recognize and protect highly confidential information from disclosureTeam player who is receptive to others' input and ideasProficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Ability to frequently operate a computer or other office productivity machineryAbility to lift up to 20 lbsAbility to perform essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodationMay require more than 40.0 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the positionIn addition to offering a collaborative and collegial environment, we offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
