QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER USACE PAST EXPERIENCE REQUIRED *APPLICANT MUST BE ABLE TO GAIN AND MAINTAIN ACCESS TO A UNITED STATES MILITARY INSTALLATION. CQC SYSTEM MANAGER : The CQC System Manager must have successfully completed the USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course. The CQC System Manager must be fully knowledgeable in the implementation of the USACE three (3) phase control inspection process, plus have a minimum of one (1) year experience in using the process. Additional training will be provided by the Director of Quality Control. The CQC System Manager must be able to read and interpret/understand/comprehend Drawings, Sketches and applicable standards. Must be able to inspect field conditions and recognize deviations from Design to conform to quality requirements. Must be able to identify, document, communicate quality issues. Additionally, follow-up with corrective actions through closure as required. Manage Construction Quality Control Plan (CQCP) and confirm that task orders are executed in accordance with the contractually required level of quality. Codes, Plans and Specifications are the standards of quality. Procedures control product conformance and document compliance in an effort to confirm that our suppliers, subcontractors and field personnel meet the quality level required, current codes, environmental requirements and technical criteria established within the task order. GOALS; a) Provide Quality Control to conform work to the agreed upon criteria consistent within the time allotted for completion. b) Instill in every worker on the site the importance of adhering to contract documents and to take pride in performing work properly the first time. c) Establish purchasing criteria to confirm that all quality standards are met. d) Confirm that the owner and stakeholder's expectations are met (defined as a level of compliance to the standards) with the work performed by Synergy-Kirlin Joint Venture II (SKJVIIII). e) Educate and consult project personnel regarding the benefits of quality control. * APPLICANT MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE PERFORMING AS AN CQC. HEALTHCARE CONSTRUCTION A PLUS . * Must be able to perform daily QC inspections and associated reports. * Must be able to present production and quality control functions at weekly owner and subcontractor meetings. * Ability to communicate successfully with Site Superintendent, Government Quality Assurance Representative, Environmental, subcontractors, and tradesmen * Maintains QC records and manages all required reporting. * Must be proficient in QCS/RMS, Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Internet CORE COMPETENCIES: * Commitment to Excellence - Identifies what needs to be accomplished and takes action to achieve a standard of excellence beyond job expectations * Corporate Values - Understands, embraces, and integrates Synergy Cornerstone Principles into everyday duties and responsibilities * Customer Service - Identifies and responds to current and future needs by providing excellent service to internal and external customers * Teamwork - Resourceful team player that builds, strengthens, and maintains collaborative relationships with others inside or outside the organization JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES: * Attention to Detail- Ensures one's own and other's work and information are complete and accurate. * Planning and Organizing- Systematically develop plans, prioritize, organize and manage resources in order to accomplish business goals within a specific period of time.
