We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to build out our expanding team. We've got big goals for 2019, and we need you to help us achieve them. You'll learn and cultivate the skills needed to succeed in a sales organization by hitting monthly engagement targets. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about hitting the phones, passionate about our product, and able to learn quickly. They have excellent communication skills and sound great on the phone. You will report to our Director of Marketing and will coordinate with our sales and marketing teams to help achieve the company's goals. What you'll be doing: Build and cultivate relationships via phone and email to set meetings for sales Proactively manage all communications with a high volume of prospective customers across verticals Own your geographic market while managing and growing a robust pipeline Screen prospective customers to ensure they meet our product-market fit Use Salesforce to manage and track the lead pipeline, communications activity, and customer meetings Qualifications you have: Excellent communication skills, particularly on the phone Ability to balance and prioritize responsibilities A deep understanding of TransitScreen's mission and value proposition (or the willingness to develop it) Benefits you'll have: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Free Capital Bikeshare and discounted Zipcar membership Pre-tax WMATA benefits Weekly company lunch on Mondays All the LaCroix and Diet Coke you can drink Flexible hours and unlimited vacation
