Wireless Advocates operates retail kiosks and online sales activities for our retail partners: Costco Wholesale, Army & Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES), Marine Corps Exchange (MCX), and Navy Exchange (NEX).?Position Summary:As the Regional Director of Sales, you'll own one of two regions in our Military channel, serving our nation?s military at various Exchanges throughout the country. You?ll work closely with your team to deliver outstanding sales results and an exceptional member experience. From recruiting and staffing to driving daily sales performance, you'll assess each location to identify areas of improvement and respond quickly. And, with the same focus, you'll celebrate successes to reinforce your team's effort and accomplishments. During your location visits, you'll put your assessment skills to work, monitoring everything from sales behaviors to product knowledge. Your keen eye will help you identify issues, devise action plans, and seek opportunities to refine and grow our business. As you cultivate working relationships with your District Managers, Kiosk (Store) Managers and peers, you'll gather the tools to build success across your Region, tracking overall market performance and creating effective action plans to meet organizational goals.ResponsibilitiesWhat Kind of Leader Are You??Individuals who excel as Regional Director of Sales have a natural ability to lead leaders and instill confidence in the people around them. This position also demands that (a) you be diligent about tracking numbers - making clear sense of the financial data and making your next action plan, and (b) you are a subject matter expert on all aspects of sales and store operations. With clear and definitive objectives, you will continuously identify performance gaps for each team member and successfully implement a plan to close those gaps.?Core Responsibilities: Manages 10 ? 12 District Managers in the successful operation of Wireless Advocates branded kiosks within Military base Exchanges. Positively contributes our guiding principles and key tenets by creating an engaging work environment for our employees and the customers we serve. Leads by example. Is customer obsessed. Consistently meets or exceeds sales and performance expectations in each location. Holds team accountable to all Wireless Advocates performance standards minimizing or eliminating performance gaps in each location.Creates a sharp focus on sales and sales generating activities every day in each location. Spends 50%+ of time in stores assessing and coaching. Actively manages recruiting and staffing for all positions in their market ensuring all locations are staffed and scheduled for maximum productivity. Conducts regular 1 on 1's, conference calls, trainings, and meetings to foster knowledge and best practice sharing. Partners with HR, Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain and Finance teams to deliver a consistent employee and member experience. Proactively reviews sales and operational reporting to identify potential risks and takes appropriate action. Travels 50% - 75% within the region.QualificationsRequirements: Education Required: HS Diploma, BA or BS preferred in a related field or equivalent experience. 5 ? 7 or more years? successful sales management experience in a national retail setting. Demonstrated experience managing across multiple store locations, in multiple states. Demonstrated ethical and moral leadership ? a role model for his/her team. Demonstrated skill in coaching, training and development activities of a sales team. Demonstrated success in staffing stores with high quality, high potential candidates. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.). Excellent knowledge of all aspects of retail store operations. Mature professional with a good balance of risk taking and judgment, confidence and assertiveness, open-minded and flexible - who demonstrates a 'take charge' spirit. Ability and commitment to outside normal operating hours, including evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
