Formed through the combination of Westwicke, the largest healthcare investor relations consultancy in the country, and ICR, a leading full-service communications firm providing public relations, special situations & governance and digital branding, Westwicke provides integrated communications services and independent capital markets advice to small and mid-cap companies in the life sciences, healthcare services/HCIT, and med tech/diagnostics sectors.We are looking for a Senior Associate for our Med Tech/Diagnostics/Life Sciences Tools team in Baltimore.Responsibilities include:. Provide direct support for senior vice presidents, vice presidents and the head of the group. Create, update and maintain detailed financial models on our clients. Track and report on our client's competitor/peer business developments and financial results. Prepare reports and analysis for client outlining investor feedback, financial results, stock price performance, changes to institutional shareholder base. Assist with the creation and preparation of capital markets review books that we prepare for each of our clients on a quarterly basis. Develop and manage relationships with current analysts and institutional investors. Develop and manage timeline for investor conferences, non-deal roadshows and other major events. Develop client marketing materials, including corporate press releases, letters to shareholders, investor fact sheets, and IR website content. Participate in the quarter review and preparation process, including due diligence calls with management, drafting earnings releases, conference call scripts and Q/A documents. Clerical and administrative responsibilities, including but not limited to travel arrangements and organizing and maintaining file storageJob Requirements:. 2-4 years of experience in public company investor relations and/or equity research/banking/ECM.. Ability to work in a team environment and be extremely responsive to superiors and peers. Excellent interpersonal & verbal / written communication skills. Background in science or Healthcare field preferred. Strong interest in or understanding of the equity markets a plus. Confident and professional phone and e-mail communication. Ability to work independently and complete projects with limited supervision. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Bachelor's Degree required. MBA and/or CFA a plus
