TMA is seeking a Chief Architect at their Headquarters in Chantilly to develop and oversee the overall technical approach for TMA programs, which includes software and hardware. The Chief Architect will be responsible for monitoring tech trends and investment areas to ensure TMA remains positions at the forefront of technology. The Chief Architect will act as technical interface between TMA affiliate companies/ technologies and NS2, our parent company. The Architect will help shape and design principles for TMA technical leads in their associated programs and manage the overall Configuration and Operational Management programs including guidelines and adherence. This person will be responsible for leading TMA's culture of innovation and driving internal products/solutions to stay competitive with industry. This individual will be working with technical oriented teams dedicated to agile development in support of the mission. This position will potentially require travel for industry/affiliate events. This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.. Required Qualifications: *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management or related field *15+ years' experience in software/hardware development ranging from rapid development capabilities to scaling enterprise level software solutions*Management of large and small software engineering teams*Familiarity with a variety of software stacks / technologies including and not limited to UI frameworks, Cloud Platforms (eg AWS), RDBMS, and Data Science/ Machine Learning technologies*SaaS/PaaS architectural expertise*Experience with architecture and technology governance*Experience with Cloud or On-Premise solutions. *Experience with Virtualization and Containerization*Experience with DevOps. Desired Qualifications: *Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology Management, or related field *Familiarity in RF system design, architecture, data; SIGINT applications*Experience with application design and documentation of software product architectures*Experience with Microservice and Event-driven architectures *Familiarity in leveraging Machine Learning / AI and NLP components in a solution*Experience with stream processing or pub/sub architecture for real time and offline use cases.*Experience in architecting high intensity data ingestion and big data storage and fast read / write solutions*Ability to collaborate on long-term architectural vision, and articulate and evangelize that vision in and out of the company*Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) requirements, software and hardware platforms*Working knowledge of security protocols.
