Northrop Grumman Technology Services in McLean, VA is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to collaborate across all levels of division leadership in our Global Services (GS) Division. In this role, the HRBP will shape and influence business strategy as it applies to human capital with a focus on areas like employee retention, talent development and mobility, positive employee relations, and organizational effectiveness/change management. In addition, the ability to design and/or execute on segmented and fluid talent strategies in the areas of talent acquisition, and workforce planning is critical to success in this role. The HRBP is a key member of the HR organization while also being embedded within the business making the ability to balance direction and priorities from both groups imperative. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, take initiative, adapt easily to change, exert tactful influence, and make well-informed and independent decisions. The HRBP must be a strong communicator, with a demonstrated ability to develop and present information to a variety of stakeholders in a manner consistent with the target audience, in order to be successful in this role. Qualifications "This requisition may be filled at either a Principal or a Sr. Principal level" Basic Qualifications (Principal HR Business Partner): * BA/BS degree and a minimum of 6 years related experience -OR- minimum of 4 years with Masters degree. * Previous experience supporting business leaders through the execution of human capital strategy and initiatives aligned with business imperatives and priorities * Experience in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, policy administration, and employee training/development * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Basic Qualifications (Sr. Principal HR Business Partner): * BA/BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of HR experience -OR- a minimum of 8 years with Masters degree. * Previous experience supporting business leaders through the execution of human capital strategy and initiatives aligned with business imperatives and priorities * Experience in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, policy administration, and employee training/development * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working on new business pursuits and/or proposal teams * Use of data analytics to support human capital strategy * Understanding of basic financial metrics (sales, awards, margin, etc.) * Experience leading project teams/initiatives Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
