Orbis is seeking talented Software Quality Assurance Analyst who desires to further hisher career in big data, cloud computing, including the use of Hadoop, Accumulo, MarkLogic, MapR and core semantic web technologies. In this role, you will play a critical part in everything we do to improve quality and ship better products. Essential Duties Responsibilities Develop and enhance test processes and methodologies to ensure stakeholders and management have an accurate reporting of the quality of Orbis products and solutions. Create and write test procedures, cases and plans from requirements, technical artifacts, Help Desk tickets and stakeholder input. Ensure software code is properly covered with unit, functional, automated, and manual tests. Work with product and project teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and the test cases written to support those requirements. Work with various teams - software development, Release Management, Software Quality and the Director, to discover and document test cases and test coverage for our programs. Mandatory Requirements Qualifications US citizenship. BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent technical work experience. 2 to 6 years of experience in Database testing, both manual and automated. 4 to 7 years of experience in web application and network penetration testing, both manual and automated. Minimum 2+ years of experience in web application security testing using Nessus and Fortify tools. Familiarity with at least one network pen testing (Nessus scanner) and web application vulnerability scanners and with source code analysis tools (Fortify). Strong hands-on experience testing SQL, NoSQL, and XML databases (MarkLogic preferred). Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices. Expertise in XSLT, XQuery, SQL, JSON, XPath and XSL. Experience testing for failover, replication, security, horizonal scaling and distributed architectures. Experience validating and verifying application and infrastructure requirements for performance, availability, stability, and efficiency. Experience exhibiting communication skills (listening, verbal, written, and presentationbriefing). Experience communicating complex technical concepts and project information to technical and non-technical audiences. Experience using automated test tools eg JMeter, Selenium and Postman. Experience with Jenkins DSL, and GitLab Understanding of and ability to use AgileSCRUM methodologies. Familiarity with Quality Industry Standards (eg ISO) Strong understanding of testing systems in Windows and Linux system administration. Ability to work as an individual and team. Preferred Skills Qualifications Experience with DoD ICD503 and Risk Management Framework policies and accreditation procedures. Experience with DockerKubernetesOpenShiftOther virtualization platforms Experience with scripting languages such as Python andor programming languages such as Java, C, etc. Quality certifications (eg Six Sigma). Understanding of application security guidelinesrequirements from OWASP Top 10OSTMMWASCPCI-DSS. Minimum 2 + years of experience in testing of ETL packages, triggers and stored procedures, views, SQL transactions. DoD SECRET Preferred.
