While we invest in and develop technology to drive our innovations, our ongoing success relies on our people.Position Summary:The Hospital Sales Support Analyst is responsible for coordinating incoming work-flow and follow up of outgoing work requests for all proposals, bids, new accounts and other work requests. Actively supports the hospital sales team with requests and information regarding new growth opportunities for prospective and current accounts.Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Manage incoming HSS workflow by evaluating, prioritizing, distributing, and tracking all incoming work requests.Manage follow up of all outgoing work requests and track responses, due dates, etc.Build strategic relationships with sales force, Pricing Operations team, National Contracts team and local BU sales support teams.Review all requests for new accounts, distribute for approvals, set up new accounts per department SOP and maintain contract log.Provide office coverage in the absence of the Director and Manager and perform general problem handling and triage for the Pricing Operations team and Hospital Sales Support.Develop and maintain knowledge of GPO contracts and requirements.Review all Third Party billing requests, distribute for approvals and maintain log.Assist with special projects for the HSS Manager and Director.JOB DESCRIPTION:Hospital Support Analyst (2)Provide backup and support for HSS coordinator.Coordinate centralized BU project tracking and conference calls.Provide backup and support for National Hospital Services RFP coordinator including gathering RFP information, drafting responses, coordinating with sales force, and submitting completed RFP's.Assist HSS Manager with creating and implementing training programs related to HSS functions for sales force, pricing operations teams and local BU sales support teams.Physical Demands:None Qualifications:Experience, Education, and LicensureBachelor's degree, technical degree or equivalent preferred. At least 4 years professional business experience. Healthcare industry experiences a major plus.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to work with little or no supervision.Strong decision making and problem solving skills required.Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
