Supporting the Most Exciting and Meaningful Missions in the WorldPersonnel Security Deputy Program ManagerJob Description:To provide personnel and administrative security support services for a federal client. Duties may include, but are not limited to:In conjunction with the provision of professional security and/or intelligence services serves as the Deputy to the Contractor's Key contract manager, and shall be the Contractor's Program Manager authorized to interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government management personnel and customer agency representatives.Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards; assigning Contractor schedules; reviewing work discrepancies; supervising Contractor personnel; assisting in task performance; preparing, reviewing and submitting required reports and communicating policies, purpose and goals of the organization to subordinates.Manage all aspects of contractor performance over a geographically dispersed program office. Responsible for oversight and evaluation of performance of the contractor personnel, and for the recruitment, screening, selection and placement of contractor personnel.Serve as an on-site team leader and subject matter expert in multiple security disciplines including personnel, industrial and administrative security.Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards; assigning Contractor schedules; reviewing work discrepancies; supervising Contractor personnel; assisting in task performance; preparing, reviewing and submitting required reports and communicating policies, purpose and goals of the organization to subordinates.Must demonstrate a proficiency in various types of information technology resources such as Microsoft Office including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be adept in the operation and utilization of contemporary office machines (ie copying equipment, fax machines, scanner, etc.) and proficient in searching and obtaining documents from the internet. Be able to review, evaluate and adjudicate reports of investigation, personnel files and other records to determine whether to grant, deny revoke or suspend access in accordance with fitness standards.Required QualificationThe minimum experience and education requirements for this position are:With a Master's Degree this position requires a minimum of five years of experience, two of which should be experience relevant to the nature of the contract work.With a Bachelor's Degree this position requires a minimum of seven years of experience, three of which should be experience relevant to the nature of the contract work.With an Associate's Degree this position requires a minimum of eight years of experience, four of which should be experience relevant to the nature of the contract work.With no degree this position requires a minimum of ten years of experience, five of which should experience relevant to the nature of the contract work.Relevant experience may include, but is not limited to, project development, management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing contract tasks and/or subcontracts. Experience should demonstrate increasing responsibilities within the discipline and/or management.In conjunction with the provision of professional security and/or intelligence services serves as the Contractor's single contract manager, and shall be the Contractor's authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), government management personnel and customer agency representatives.Responsible for formulating and enforcing work standards; assigning Contractor schedules; reviewing work discrepancies; supervising Contractor personnel; assisting in task performance; preparing, reviewing and submitting required reports and communicating policies, purpose and goals of the organization to subordinates.Shall be responsible for the overall contract performance and quality assurance.Must demonstrate a proficiency in various types of information technology resources such as Microsoft Office including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must be adept in the operation and utilization of contemporary office machines (ie copying equipment, fax machines, scanner, etc.) and proficient in searching and obtaining documents from the internet. Must have prior contract suitability adjudication experience in various government systems regulations and directives, to include the following: Electronic Questionnaire for Investigation Processing (e-QIP) & National Crime and Information Center (NCIC).Position requires up to 30% travel.All applicants must be able to obtain a government security clearance..Preferred QualificationsExperience in managing large scope, multiple location, Federal Government contracts.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business ManagementKnowledge of DHS policies and proceduresPAE is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
