Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to test and develop automation test frameworks for scalable software solutions and services. This is for a long term contract opportunity with a large financial services institution in Herndon, VA. Client may require an onsite interview REQUIRED SKILLS -Thorough understanding of QA concepts and quality standards for products and processes -Knowledge of Testing Tools such as QC andor Rally -Experience with automation tools such as QTPUFT and Selenium, Gherkin and Cucumber -Experience working in a Windows and Unix Environment -Ability to understand and construct SQL Queries, QTP -Ability to perform and adapt in a fast-paced Agile environment -Understanding of Test Automation Concepts, Tools and Strategy -Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) -Experience leading small to medium size testing team -Experience in VB Scripting -Knowledge of scripting languages (PERL, PYTHON, Shell)
